Syntron Light Capacity Electronic Vibrating Feeders

Flexibility is the key characteristic of Syntron Light Capacity Electromagnetic Vibrating Feeders. Whether the ingredients are hot or cold, fine or coarse, dry or damp, light or heavy, these versatile units can handle them easily and efficiently.

Typical applications include:

feeding

packaging

batching

screening

grinding

mixing

flaking

freezing

drying operations

.

All models can be supplied in accordance with FDA or USDA specifications for use in the food, drug and cosmetic industries.

The nine standard models operate with maximum capacities ranging from 1,250 pounds to 20 tons per hour, based upon material weighing 100 pounds per cubic foot. High stroke units are available for difficult to handle materials.

The electromagnetic design and rugged construction of these feeders offer unparalleled durability and reliability. There are no mechanical parts such as gears, cams, eccentrics or bearings to require lubrication and eventually wear out. Drive units are encased in housings ranging from dust-resistant to water-proof. Downtime and maintenance are extremely rare, even when the feeders operate under difficult or abusive environmental conditions.

Control is simple. With standard local controls the material flow can be easily adjusted by turning a potentiometer. A number of automatic and special control arrangements are also available to meet specific material handling requirements

Syntron Screening Solutions

FMC Technologies' screening solutions meet the need for numerous scalping, separating, sizing, de-dusting and de-watering applications.  Strategic design enhancements provide effective, economical solutions for some of the most difficult screening applications.  FMC Technologies' Syntron screens accomodate a multitude of materials, operating conditions and capacities.

From coal to food processing, to plastics, pharmaceuticals and other processes, Syntron screening feeders are employed to scalp, separate, size, de-dust and de-water bulk products. Powered by highly efficient electromagnetic drives which provide gentle handling with minimal product degradation, Syntron screening feeders have no moving parts, which means no lubrication is required and ongoing maintenance is minimal.  Units range in size from a tiny, three-inch-wide pill de-duster to the massive four-foot-wide models used in heavy industry. FMC Technologies also offers electromechanical designs for high-tonnage screening of coarse materials.

With more than 60 years of proven performance, Syntron vibrating screens provide effective and efficient solutions for difficult screening challenges.  Syntron screens are on the job in the mining, aggregate, asphalt, pulp and paper, chemical handling, food processing, glass and sewage treatment industries. These screens feature vigorous high-speed elliptical and/or circular vibration that keeps loads lively for accelerated separation, minimizing plugging and blinding. Syntron vibrating screens require only minimal routine maintenance which can be performed with minimal downtime since vibrator parts are quickly detachable from the vibrating screen.

Syntron grizzly bar screens combine two operations in one - efficient scalping and controlled feeding.  Built for tough environments, Syntron grizzly bar screens are commonly used to bypass fine particles that clog or slow down crushing and reducing operations. They can also be employed to lay a cushion of fines on a belt conveyor to protect the belt from product fall-out damage.  Syntron grizzly bar screens are also used to remove large foreign objects or particles from volume flow, and are ideal for rough scalping and/or separating applications.

Syntron Parts Feeders

If your process involves feeding, orienting and singulating parts, chances are Syntron parts feeders are "part" of the solution.
